Provider of outdoor and bushcraft skills and activities for children’s holiday camps, youth groups, schools, corporate team building and children’s birthday parties

Hampshire Bushcraft was launched in 2020 when Tim decided to turn his passion for the outdoors into something he could share with others.  Since then he has been running parties, holiday activity camps and hosting school groups for children of all ages.

Tim is a great advocate for getting children outdoors and firmly believes that bushcraft promotes a sense of adventure and discovery in a world of screens, homework, exam pressures and expectations.  There is nothing better than seeing children don their wellies, build their own shelter for the day, light and keep their own fire going and whittle their own utensil to cook with.

Tim has been fascinated by the natural world since he was a small child where he spent most of his free time den building and making fires in the local woods. In his teens, he took up hiking and climbing and over the years has spent much time trekking in the Himalayas, Alps and Rockies. Closer to home, he has hiked, biked, climbed and camped all over the UK.  Tim is also a keen cyclist and has biked most recently from Land’s End to John o’ Groats, the South Downs Way and the Sarn Helen Trail in Wales.  Over the years Tim has taught children of all ages to swim and to sail, and has run more children’s parties (both his own and others) than you can shake a whittled stick at.  He currently enjoys passing his outdoor skills on to his three children Emilia, Georgie and Max. Panther the dog prefers to stay in, however.

Tim is a Level 2 Bushcraft Instructor, is first aid trained and has an enhanced DBS.
