Absolutely glorious weather for our May camps! Busy, fun, energetic days so not much time for pics but hopefully this gives you a flavour of what we do - happy, free range children! We'll look forward to seeing all our campers in the summer hols and wish them all a good last half term at school!

A slightly belated Happy Easter to all of our campers and their families, and a round up of the last two weeks of our beautifully sunny Easter holiday camps. Great fun, freedom and adventure - what better way to spend the holidays!

Summer camp finale today! What a brilliant summer - fabulous campers with great energy and curiosity; new friendships made and old renewed! We will look forward to seeing you all again over half term. In the meantime, we wish all of our campers a very enjoyable start to the new term 🔥🔥🔥

Week 2 of our Easter camps is now over - what a brilliant week of muddy, creative fun! Camp will now be having a rest (aside from weekend birthday parties for which we are now fully booked until the end of August) until the summer holidays. We'll be sending summer holiday dates to everyone on our mailing list in the next few weeks!

Mud, glorious mud for day 1 of our half term camps. The rain did not deter (thank you to EVERYONE for coming so well prepared); everyone got a fire going despite the wet; and great fun was had by all 🔥🔥🔥

Finally managed to get our bushcraft hound (whom all our campers will be very familiar with 😀) up to @pawsmeadowhampshire to give her a good, off lead run about. For any of you who don't know it, it's a really beautiful fully enclosed dog-walking field just a few metres from where you park for camp so well worth a visit after drop off or before pick up from camp in the hols!

With Feb half term less than a month away, we have just released the dates for our half term bushcraft camps!
We will be running camps over 3 days of half term and hope to see al the children there! We'll have plenty of fires roaring, all of our usual activities (fire-craft, knife skills, shelter building, forest games, arts and crafts etc), and warming hot chocolates and toasted marshmallows to end the day.
Tuesday 13th, Wednesday 14th and Thursday 15th February 2024
Core hours 9am-4pm. Early club runs from 8am and late club runs until 5pm.

To say the weather was torrential today was a slight understatement at points! It is such a joy though to see the energy, joy, and not to mention the bushcraft skills in getting fires going, shelters up, that all of the children display on days like this. Pushing cars off the common is all part of the service 😀🎄🎄
