Ingredients
A good portion of bannock bread for 1 person is:
- 1 cup of bread flour (or self raising flour)
- Tea spoon of baking powder
- Tea spoon of olive oil
- Pinch of salt
- Pinch of sugar
- Optional – add any additional flavours (chilli, garlic, pepper, cheese, raisins, chocolate chips, etc.)
Get it all in the zip lock bag and give it a good mash up!
When ready to make
Heat pan up
Jot of oil in the pan
Add water gradually to mix until squishy
Bang it in the pan and let cook until solid on the outside or wrap it round a decent stick and cook it over the fire.
